The 8th Course on "Managing Patients with ICDs"

The Course on "Managing Patients with ICDs" is a two day course providing participants with a working knowledge of Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators and the safe management of this patient group. It is aimed at Clinical Physiologists, GPs, Nurses, SpRs, and all other health care professionals invested in this exciting field of medicine.
Registration is limited allowing a high ratio of lectures to delegates and will be on a first come first served basis.
The aim is to answer the following questions for practitioners with little or no experience of these devices:
- Who should have a defibrillator?
- What do defibrillators do and how do they work?
- What problems can occur?
- How do I look after a defibrillator patient?
