Intercalated Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci) in Molecular Medicine - Forensic Module option
The Forensic module option offers a unique opportunity to acquire a basic knowledge in forensic medicine and awareness of the medico-legal responsibilities of the doctor through lectures, seminars, practicals and project work.
The programme includes:
- Participation on Human Identification Course
- Visit to Portsmouth for CSI and other forensic teaching including observing an autopsy
- Toxicology teaching at Barts and St Georges
- Visit to Coroners Court
- DNA teaching at Whitechapel
- Integrative Assignment
- Project
