I qualified in 1995 from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, London. After a period of research into heart failure physiology at the Royal Brompton Hospital, my cardiological clinical training took place in NE London and Cambridge.
I was appointed as a Consultant at Barts and the London Trust in 2006 and made an Honorary Senior Lecturer in 2008.
My main clinical interests are non-invasive cardiac imaging (cardiac CT, cardiac MR and cardiac nuclear imaging) and heart failure management.
My research interests are directed towards the use of non-invasive imaging techniques to diagnose cardiovascular disease, inform treatment decisions and improve prognostic assessment.
